Midwest Young Artists Conservatory allows private teachers with five or more students in MYA Conservatory, current MYAC students/faculty/staff and MYAC Alumni ensembles to reserve a room in the building, if available, at no cost once a semester (Fall, Spring and Summer) for their recitals, master classes or rehearsals. Please note that this does not include use of any MYAC equipment (instruments, etc.) with the exception of pianos. Priority is always given to MYAC related rehearsals and activities before booking any space at MYAC’s home to outside entities. This includes consideration for room set-up, reset time and staff coverage.
Minimum rate is $200 for up to two (2) hours; $100 for each additional hour,
or any fraction of an hour over two (2) hours. Depending on the nature of your event, a $50 cleaning fee may be required.
Invoices will be sent upon confirmation of the requested date and must be
paid within thirty (30) days or before any use of the building, whichever
should come first. Any organization using the MYAC Center at Fort Sheridan
must present MYAC with a Certificate of Liability
Insurance which covers MYAC as an additional insured.
Absolutely no smoking or alcoholic beverages allowed on premises. An additional cleaning charge of $200 will be incurred if the room(s) are not left as they were found.
